Welcome Stylo 200♥ !!! 200 weeks of steady and devoted work and effort. I am sooo proud of myself! 😉 . Sometimes I wish I could have achieved more, but then again, I thank God for what I already have fulfilled, because I do put my heart into everything I do.
In order to commemorate this milestone, I chose to put on my gorgeous floral culotte jumpsuit and head over to Little Italy NYC to celebrate and have dinner with the most important woman in my life: My Momma ♥, and also in company of another beautiful woman, family member as well.
As I said in my previous post, I have bought this culotte jumpsuit at Macy*s a couple of weeks ago.
It belongs to Material Girl, which is the official Madonna & daughter Lola’s clothing collection.
I love this culotte jumpsuit because of its bold and creative approach, just like the brand itself! It is fun, fearless and unique ♥
It features adjustable straps, lattice cutouts at the waist and exposed zipper and back cutouts. It is fitted on top with a culotte bottom. I also love the eye-catching allover print.
Notice that Material Girl is made for Juniors, basically made to attract a younger generation, but that does not mean that anyone can not rock its clothes and make it suitable to their personality and personal style; just like I did!
I chose to wear it with gold platform sandals and an oversized clutch. I am telling you, it was the perfect outfit for the perfect occasion.
Weather was fantastic. We got there around 7:30pm and walked around for a bit taking some fun pics. Then we sat down to savour a delicious Italian dinner.
Little Italy is magical and so alive! I love being surrounded by so many people, besides the point that I love the Italian culture as well as their cuisine.

Yellow Color For This Summer
Yellow is the color of the season! A bright yellow garment or accessory can take any regular outfit to the next level, catching a lot of attention and turning heads wherever you go.
As I say in my previous article, I was definitely not into yellow until now…I probably had one or two garments in this color prior to this Spring 2014.
But lately I have felt a strange attraction for bright, energetic and magnetic yellows.
Whether it’s a dress, a top, a blazer, a pair of capris or even shoes and accessories, yellow would definitely work on any of these; just make sure not to overdo it, saturating your look with too much of it.
I would recommend to pick one item in this color, and then you can either create an edgy combination by pairing it with solid daring colors like aqua, turquoise, sky blue, pink, orange, or safe neutrals like brown, beige, white or black.
You can also go even edgier, by pairing yellow with patterns like black and white stripes or polka dots, animal prints or geo and tribal colorful designs.
I am a fan of anything that is unusual, so I like to experiment with out of the ordinary combinations and styles, so you bet I would go for the pairing of yellow with other bright colors, and of course with polka dots, stripes and animal prints.
I have put together a few outfits, incorporating key elements in yellow, to kind of give you an idea on how to create great looks by adding this bright and eye-catching summer hue.
1. A Yellow Dress – Pair a summer yellow dress with another bright hue like aqua or turquoise blue, for example.
2. Yellow Pants. Here I chose to pair yellow skinnies with a loose-fit black and white patterned top, along with bag and sandals in the same colors.
3. Yellow Top. You can certainly add some drama to your outfit by wearing a yellow top along with some edgy leopard pants, and why not throw some blue in there as well!
4. Yellow Accessories. Add a statement yellow necklace to your casual-chic outfit. Maybe a pair of denim skinnies with a white top?
5. Yellow Shoes. This is definitely an easy one, yet super edgy! Adopt the monochrome look or wear all neutrals along with a pair of eye-catching yellow shoes!!!

I love wearing summer crops to work! They’re comfortable and stylish at the same time. Today I chose to wear these magenta summer crops from New York & Company, along with a turtleneck top from EXPRESS in a black and white flower pattern. I also added this white cardigan from New York & Company to look more professional and also because it is always cold where I work. I usually wear flats in the morning until I get to my cubicle, then I switch to heels, that’s why you’ll see me wearing some cute white flat sandals from Express and also my regular black pumps. I am wearing my hair loose without my bangs and the makeup is just neutral eyeshadows with a pink lipstick.
Crop Pants in Pink from New York & Company; Black and White Turltleneck from EXPRESS; Scoopneck Three-Quarter Sleeve Cardigan in Optic White from New York & Company; Black Pumps from Mandee; Silver Accessories.
You could also wear your crop pants with flat sandals!
Summer Crops are super comfortable and stylish! Wear them to work in a bright color like these magenta ones, paired with a black and white patterned top.
* Pink and Blue Flowers * is a Stylo inspired by one of my recent articles: Summer Blooming Flowers: Wear a floral skirt this Summer 2013! where I compiled the trendiest summer floral skirts on earth! This made me go get one and make the Stylo I am presenting you today. We all know when wearing floral patterns we must find balance, in other words, pairing a pattern with solid colors will be a wise decision. So I chose to pair my floral skirt with a plain and simple tee in white, because I figured it’s summer time and a white tee is a key summer garment. Then I added contrast by incorporating dramatic colors like fuchsia and royal blue, adding a crossbody and a pair of booties in these colors. I also chose to give the Stylo sort of an edgy look by wearing jewelry with a rock style influence, like the earpiece and the necklace I am wearing.
Ruffled Flower Skirt from Mandee (
$20 $9.99); Lace White Tee from Love Culture ($5.90); Taffy Blue Suede bebe Shoes in Royal Blue; Black Blazer from New York & Company; Mossimo® Crossbody Bag – Pink from Target ( $19.99 $13.98); Bejeweled Motif Cross Necklace in Dark Gray from Love Culture ($11.90); Draped Ear Cuff from Mandee ( $12 $9.27).
Color Tatoo By EyeStudio Maybelline Eyeshadow in 20 Painted Purple; Prisma Chrome Eyeshadow by Sephora in Sapphire Shine N°30 & Moon Beam N°05; Line Stiletto Black Liquid Eyeliner from Maybelline New York; the ROCKET VOLUM’ EXPRESS Mascara from Maybelline New York; NARS Blush in Orgasm; NARS Lipstick in Catfight; REVLON Lipstick in Nude Attitude; Studio Tech Foundation & Studio Fix Compact Powder from MAC Cosmetics. Nail color from REVLON in 170 Coastal Surf.
Wear Pink and Blue Flowers on a floral skirt this Summer! Pair it with a simple white Tee and some edgy accessories like the ones I picked. Check them out!
High-Low Style is what I named my Stylo of this Week, and the reason is because I chose to wear yesterday a High-Low Skirt and also because of the kind of weather we had. I figured I would create two version of the same outfit, one super relaxed and laid back, and the other one still casual but a little dressier. This Stylo is super easy to achieve; all you would need is a cami and a hi-lo skirt! For a comfy look, I added this colorful Striped Woven Fedora from Claire’s, a royal blue statement necklace from Mandee, a striking orange crossbody from Love Culture and white flat sandals from Express. To look a little more glamorous, I chose to add these Jessica Simpson Pumps I got a Macy*s, a cute mint green crossbody from Mandee, and also this oversized fashion scarf from Express. The makeup is super simple, just thin cat eyes and fuchsia lips. I left my hair loose and straight.
Look #1 – High-Low Style Skirt in a Paisley pattern from A. BYER; White Cami from Mandee; JS-JASMINT in Pale Pink Jessica Simpson Pumps from Macy*s ($89.99); Mint Chained Bag from Mandee ($20); Silver/Gold Bracelet from Simply Vera, Vera Wang at Kohl’s. Look #2 – High-Low Style Skirt in a Paisley pattern from A. BYER; White Cami from Mandee; White Studded Flat Sandals from Express; Striped Woven Fedora from Claire’s (now $5); Orange Crossbody from Love Culture; Royal Blue Statement Necklace from Mandee ($24); Silver/Gold Bracelet from Simply Vera, Vera Wang at Kohl’s; Gold Finger Ring and Blue/Gold Rectangular Ring from Forever 21.
