Midi length has been trending for quite a while now, becoming one of my favorite trends.
I love the retro air that midi length adds to any outfit, whether it is a skirt or a dress.
I went to a Birthday/Retirement Party this weekend, and I wanted to wear something elegant and ladylike that would resemble the Summer/Fall transition that we are currently in.
I found this beautiful floral scuba midi dress that had everything I was looking for.
It hugged my curves very well, and it made me look really elegant.
I chose to pair it with black strappy heels and a lovely gold box looking minaudière from Halston Heritage.
Midi dresses are the perfect fit to look very elegant and feminine with a tiny hint of demureness.

Retro Fashion * Stylo 198♥
Retro fashion has always been one of my favorites. I love wearing demure elegant pieces that give you that classic glam look.
This is what I wore to the Fashion Industry Mixer event that StylingOn hosted last Thursday at the upscale Carlton Hotel in NYC. ♥
This posh event gathered stylists, designers, fashion bloggers, editors and journalists looking to network with some of the finest people in New York’s fashion industry.
I wanted to wear something fresh but glam and stylish. I thought this summery floral print dress with linear designs would give me the perfect look.
This dress also camouflaged some of my imperfections flattering my figure big time, being that scuba midi dresses tend to enhance your figure.
I chose to add these super high beige pumps and a black clutch. As you can see all the accessories are in solid neutral colors, being that I was already wearing a super busy patterned dress.
I also wore minimum jewelry. Regarding the Makeup, I chose neutral eyeshadows paired with a red wine lipstick.
I had a great time at this event. I was able to meet great talented people, all with common likes and interests.
