Have you ever want to dress down your work clothes to rock it on the weekend? I know I have…
Definitely not every single piece, but things like a cute dress, a pair of white pants, a pencil skirt?
I am one who keeps her office clothes separate from my weekend garments. Part of the reason it is because I want to look different when I am off from work.
But sometimes I happen to love something so much, that I would love to wear it outside the office. And this is exactly what happened this weekend.
I am a pencil skirt LOVERRR! I love how they fit and how they look on me. So I wanted to wear this pencil skirt on Saturday, and I didn’t know how, because I also did not feel like dressing up either…
What a dilemma! ha? Then I asked myself the question: Why can’t I dress it down?
I was going to present my new jewelry collection to some clients, and I wanted to look a bit chic but not dressed up at all…so I opted for creating this Stylo.
It is comfy, summery, stylish, casual and a bit edgy, because I am breaking the rules and also because I am mixing opposite little details like studs with lace, and also wearing a pretty decent amount of bling.
Regarding the Makeup, I tried for the first time this awesome REVLON Colorburst Balm Stain Lip Crayon, and I am in love with it!!! <3 It is highly pigmented and keeps my lips well moisturized.
I paired it with my NAKED Eyeshadow Palette, and the result is a softy glam makeup look.
This Stylo is perfect for any Summer afternoon outing, where you are not required to dress it up, but you, as usual, want to look pretty ♥

Ready for some Holiday Glam? Holiday Season is here! And it’s time to start prepping for this amazing time of the year.
I decided to come up with some holiday outfit ideas, like mix of fabrics, colors and patterns, that could be paired in order to create a glam chic holiday look.
This week I chose to combine leopard with claret, as well as satin with lace, to create a super glam look that would be perfect for the Holidays.
I am also a lover of turtlenecks as well as pencil skirts, so I think both look great together, because they give you a very ladylike and elegant look.
I chose to put my hair on a ponytail with a split in the middle. I think this simple hairdo took my Stylo to a whole new level.
The Makeup came out amazingly beautiful. I mixed black with shiny beige to obtain this subtle smoky eyes ♥
All the Jewelry I am wearing is part of my new collection that will be available soon at Lakshmi’s Closet.
What I Wore?
Leopard Print Pencil Skirt and Red Turtleneck, both from VS; JS-JASMINT in Pale Pink Jessica Simpson Pumps from Macy*s; Black Snake Print Leather Clutch from GUESS By Marciano; Earrings and Bracelets from Lakshmi’s Closet (will be available soon!).

Tribalism is the result of combining tribal key elements, like this so eye-catching high rise pencil midi skirt, a colorful tribal statement necklace and bracelet.
I had two events to attend this weekend, both on the same day. One was a home bachelorette party and the other one was a birthday party at a club. I needed to come up with a look that would work for both places.
So at first I was looking for a dress, but I soon changed my mind when I went to Love Culture and saw this sexy and elegant midi skirt.
I quickly looked for a matching top, and I found this bow back crop top in royal blue, which matched perfectly with my skirt.
I decided then to add tribal accessories and black heels and bag, to make it look more of a clubbing look, because I think black is the number one color to go out clubbing (that’s just my opinion 😉 ).
I got a lot of compliments; everyone loved my skirt and also the accessories.
I ended up not going to the club, because of timing issues, but I had a great time overall. I will definitely make it up to my beautiful cousin, by celebrating with her one of these days.

My Monday actually went by fast! A lot of work to do and still a lot to learn from my new position. This morning I checked my wardrobe and went for beige and black, wearing a super elegant and ladylike high waisted black pencil skirt along with one of my favorite blouses, a peter pan style collar top in beige and black. Being that the top is made out of lace fabric, I am wearing a beige cami under it, making sure I am definitely covered, keeping it professional. I am wearing my regular black pumps along with a beige bag. I left my hair loose wearing neutral eyeshadow colors paired with a lilac lipstick. I am also wearing minimal accessories. I love this beige and black combination, this is a proof that you could still make a statement even by wearing neutral basic colors.
Beige/Black Peter Pan Style Collar Blouse from Forever 21; High Waisted Pencil Skirt in Black from Joyce Leslie; Black Pumps and Beige Studded Bag from Mandee; Pearled Studs from H&M; Black Bracelet from Macy*s.
The Peter Pan Style Blouse is a timeless fashion trend that adds elegance and sophistication to any outfit. Wear it to work with a pencil skirt or with dressy pants along with some nice pumps and be ready to look super ladylike and professional.
February is already here and Valentine’s Day with it. I figured I should come up with a Valentine’s Day Outfit to give you some ideas in case you are looking for something to wear on that special day. My Stylo for V-Day is a combination of two styles. I wanted to mix the romantic and the vintage styles together to see what would come out and this is what I created. I also mixed the two official Valentine’s Day colors: Pink & Red. So I would say the pink, the pearls & flower accessories add the romantic touch, while the red along with the retro hairstyle and makeup add the vintage influence. I also love the fact that this outfit in its two versions favors any figure as it enhances the silhouette with the use of the peplum top and the slim pants / pencil skirt. It makes you look slimmer and taller defining your waist as well. At the beginning I wasn’t really sure if that combination would work, but I must confess I am really thrilled with the outcome… I think the pink makes this Valentine’s Day Outfit a very sweet and delicate one, versus the sexiness and the exotic look that the red contributes with. I can’t wait to wear this Stylo on Valentine’s Day 😉
Pink Peplum Top ($44.95), Pink Slim Pants (
$46.95 $28.17) and Pink Pencil Skirt ( $34.95 $10.48) from New York & Company; GWRAPINE3 Red Pumps from GUESS; Vintage Pink Fur Bag; Pink Flower Earrings from Forever 21 ($3.80); Set of Pearled Bracelets from Mandee; Vintage Silver Hearted Cuff/Watch; Flower Ring from Mon Rêve Jewelry; Flower Ring from Forever 21 ($3.99).
NAKED Palette from Urban Decay (Naked & Virgin); Line Stiletto Black Liquid Eyeliner from Maybelline New York; XXL Pro Mascara Step1 from Maybelline; Big Fatty Mascara from Urban Decay; Bronzer from Bobbi Brown Cosmetics (brownie); MAC Cosmetics Lipsticks (Viva Glam B20 & Amplified Heartless); Studio Tech Foundation & Studio Fix Compact Powder from MAC Cosmetics.
