Ready for some Holiday Glam? Holiday Season is here! And it’s time to start prepping for this amazing time of the year.
I decided to come up with some holiday outfit ideas, like mix of fabrics, colors and patterns, that could be paired in order to create a glam chic holiday look.
This week I chose to combine leopard with claret, as well as satin with lace, to create a super glam look that would be perfect for the Holidays.
I am also a lover of turtlenecks as well as pencil skirts, so I think both look great together, because they give you a very ladylike and elegant look.
I chose to put my hair on a ponytail with a split in the middle. I think this simple hairdo took my Stylo to a whole new level.
The Makeup came out amazingly beautiful. I mixed black with shiny beige to obtain this subtle smoky eyes ♥
All the Jewelry I am wearing is part of my new collection that will be available soon at Lakshmi’s Closet.
What I Wore?
Leopard Print Pencil Skirt and Red Turtleneck, both from VS; JS-JASMINT in Pale Pink Jessica Simpson Pumps from Macy*s; Black Snake Print Leather Clutch from GUESS By Marciano; Earrings and Bracelets from Lakshmi’s Closet (will be available soon!).

Deep Red is one of my favorite colors for Fall and Winter. I love wearing garments and makeup in deep red.
I chose to pair it with gray and brown for my Stylo of this week, and I love the outcome.
I wore a turtleneck long sleeved all lace top, along with a gray/beige aztec cardigan and a thick brown belt over.
I added a pair of skinnies, a red bag and a pair of snake printed pumps with a pop of red.
This is definitely a casual look perfect for Fall. I wore this outfit yesterday to go shopping for my upcoming Pre Holiday Event I am hosting in November.
I felt really comfy and stylish the whole time, plus I got nice compliments about my makeup as well.
I chose to wear this dramatic lip color called Rosary from Kat Von D paired with black eyeliner.
What I Wore
Skinnies from Mandee; Gray/Beige Aztec Cardigan from Mandee; Red Turtleneck from VS; Brown Belt from New York & Company; Red Bag from Kathy Van Zeeland; Red/Blue Drop Earrings $4 from Lakshmi’s Closet.

Even though I already created my New Year’s Stylo I wanted to also give you some outfit ideas for New Year’s Eve, just in case you feel like wearing something else according to your style. I created 5 different outfits just for you. You could either shop at the stores listed on Polyvore or try Mandee, Love Culture, Forever 21, H&M, etc.
Holiday Outfit 1 – Whimsy Lady
This first outfit is inspired in the so classy black and red but with some in vogue trends like the Peter Pan Collar Blouse, the Pleated Skirt and the Flirty Chained Bag, which make this outfit a very whimsical one. If you want to copy this look at a affordable price, just get a regular pleated skirt and a peter pan collar blouse and pair them with pumps and silver accessories. You could also get the flirty bag at one of the stores above mentioned. Wear red lipstick to add color to the whole look.
Holiday Outfit 2 – Trendy Hip
I really wanted to create a look using the so trendy Sheer Loose Blouse. I also wanted to put together a colorful outfit for those who want a fun and comfortable look. I chose to add Disco Pants, which are very IN right now. You could get one of these tops from basically any store right now. Pair it with disco pants, leggings or even leather or skinny pants. Add spiked and/or colorful pumps, a matching lipstick plus some girly accessories to create a contrast with the rough rock style (spikes, studs, leather) versus the whimsical and sweet style (flowers, bows, feathers).
Holiday Outfit 3 – Diva Glam
Try the Sequin/Lace combination paired with Gold and Oxblood colors. This is so elegant and glamorous. There are a lot of trends here combined in only one outfit. We have the Sequin, Lace, Oxblood, Gold and Peplum trends. Find yourself a peplum skirt and add a lace top. You can also wear black pumps instead, but definitely a burgundy lipstick for some sexy lips. And to finish add gold accessories.
Holiday Outfit 4 – Sweet Princess
This is one of my favorites! The black lace mixed with nude colors, plus the feathers, the pearls and the pink lipstick are so ME♥ Pair a lace top with a feather skirt and just add pearled accessories. I give you two different types of shoes: your choice. You could wear lace pumps or plain black ones.
Holiday Outfit 5 – Sexy Dramática
And last, I chose the Baroque Trend. If you really want to add drama to the New Year, get yourself a garment in this pattern. I picked a dress but you could certainly wear just the top or the bottom. I paired the dress with black pumps and compact accessories to neutralize that the drama the baroque pattern adds to any outfit. *Great Tip: Wear the Smokey Eyes/Nude Lips makeup.
My Stylo of this Week is a casual look that resembles the 80’s Style. I’ve been meaning to create a look incorporating a Chambray, Denim or Jean Shirt to it, but I wanted to come up with something a bit quirky and unconventional far from the so regular look of a denim shirt. I also wanted to incorporate a few more trends that are in vogue, all in one outfit. Besides the Denim Shirt, I added the Lace Trend. I was planning on wearing leopard leggings, because I thought I owned a pair, but what I had was a pair of leopard tights instead, and I felt the shirt was too short to wear them. So, I chose these lace looking leggings from Mandee which are the same ones I wore for my Stylo of the Week 6♥ *ROCKSTAR* . Back then I created more of a punk rock look versus this so 80’s style I’m putting together today. This is for you to see, as I always say, the many different styles you could create with only one garment. I chose to wear these black Lace Booties from GUESS, that feature 4 buckles on the side and a zipper in the back. They belong to the 2010 Guess Collection. I also added the Gold Trend by wearing all my accessories in gold, plus a Peter Pan Collar Necklace, which is still IN. The clutch I am wearing was a birthday gift given to me recently (also another hot trend). And last, I added the Oxblood Trend by wearing my nails in that color.
Long-sleeve Denim Shirt from EXPRESS; Lace Design Leggings from Mandee; Black Lace Booties Gwneverly from GUESS; Black Snake Print Leather Clutch from Guess by Marciano ($138); Tulle Bow Headband from Mandee ($6); Off White Flower Earrings from H&M set (5.95); Silver/Gold Bracelet from Simply Vera, Vera Wang at Kohl’s $44 (40% off); Black/Gold Bracelet from Forever 21 ($12.80); Gold Bow Ring from Burlington Coat Factory ($5.99); Gold Flower Ring from Forever 21 ($3.99);
NAKED Palette from Urban Decay (Virgin & Smog); LINE Stiletto Liquid Eyeliner (Blackest Black J200); XXL Pro Mascara Step1 & The Colossal Mascara from Maybelline; Big Fatty Mascara from Urban Decay; Bronzer from Bobbi Brown (brownie); Sephora Rouge Lipstick (Crush R23); Studio Tech Foundation & Studio Fix Compact Powder from MAC Cosmetics. Nail color from Orly in Terra Mauve 074.
Dress in a 80’s Modern Look putting together 6 different Hot Fall/Winter Trends: Lace, Gold, Oxblood, the Denim Chambray Shirt, the Chained Clutch & the Peter Pan Collar Necklace. So IN right now!
After watching the Latin Grammy’s Green Carpet it is confirmed gold, sequin and lace have taken over this season. We all must agree all three of them add an air of elegance and glamour to any outfit. Personally, I am a huge fan of lace and gold, so when I go shopping I’m always inclined to pick lace over any other fabric specially for this season. So, since the Holidays are approaching I thought it would be nice to add a garment to our wardrobe in one of these three tendencies.
