Dark Brown * Stylo 156♥

Dark Brown is one of the main iconic fall colors, if not the number one color for autumn.

I love dark brown paired with neutrals as well as with some other bright colors. But this time I chose to wear basically all brown, and just adding my shoes and my bag in beige.

I think beige and brown is such a safe combination, but as you all know me, I always have to add a little bit of edginess to my outfits, so I chose to wear these brown leggings with gold trims, matching the gold buttons on my bag, as well as my accessories.

I also chose to wear this polka dot shirt, which is actually two sizes bigger than my actual one…I guess I made a mistake when I bought it, and I realized yesterday when I put it on.

But as I say in my video, it kind of worked out, because I was in a mood for something comfortable, and the shirt definitely gave me the room I needed to be able to breathe comfortably.

I added just a bit of color, by incorporating some of the jewelry I sell, like my Colorful Charm Bracelet and my Yellow/Mint Drop Earrings, both available at my shop.

Dying Your Hair With Redken’s NEW Color Rebel Hair Makeup

Dying your hair doesn’t necessarily mean settling for a permanent color anymore.

Wouldn’t you like to be able to often change the color of your hair at no risks?

Well, thanks to REDKEN, this is now possible, with their Redken’s NEW Color Rebel Hair Makeup! A revolutionary water-based ink formula that uses makeup technology with direct color pigments, resistant against water and mechanical aggressors, such as brushing, blowdrying or flatironing, but so easy to remove with just two shampoos!

With its unique mix of fashion, innovation and inspiration, Redken has a strong backstage presence at Fashion Week in New York, London, Milan and Paris, becoming a leader in backstage beauty.

We all know the hair color trend has taken over this year, seeing celebrities like Katy Perry, Rachel McAdams and Nicole Richie adopt the trend.

The NEW Redken Color Rebel Hair Makeup comes in 5 extraordinary shades:

-Red-y to Rock: True red
-Rebel Without a Coral: Punchy coral
-Punked Up Pink: Fuchsia pink
-Purple Riot: Bright purple
-Gilty as Charged: Gold Shimmer

I personally chose Red-y to Rock and Purple Riot, and I honestly don’t know which one I like the most! I love both colors on my hair and I also love the whole Redken Hair Makeup concept, since I am one who have always experimented with my hair, when it comes to cuts and colors.

Dying your hair with Redken Color Rebel Hair Makeup is really simple allowing to change up your look in just minutes!

Just follow three super easy steps:

1. Prime the product by shaking well and twisting the cap in the direction of the arrows until the tip is saturated.
2. Apply Color Rebel to clean or day-after hair by gently pulling sections taut and applying in a smooth sweeping motion. Start with a light layer – you can always add more to build color intensity.
3. Simply let hair air dry or blowdry for faster results. Keep combing or brushing to a minimum after applying as this will break up the color pigments.

As I mentioned above, Color Rebel washes out after two shampoos, but if you want to remove instantly, you can do so in two easy ways. Simply wash hair with Redken Hair Cleansing Cream or apply a drop of Redken Diamond Oil Shatterproof Shine or All Soft Argan-6 Multicare Oil to the area where you would like to remove the color and rub the hair between your fingers until the color pigment dissolves.

Punk Rocker * Stylo 155♥

I have always felt I have a punk rocker soul in me. I love leather, studs, denim, silver and black all combined together, as well as a nice colored rebel hair.

This week I tried some samples from the Redken’s new color rebel hair makeup, and I guess this definitely put me in a mood for an outfit with a punk rock influence.

So I chose to wear dark skinnies with a back lace studded tee and a black leather jacket.

I also added a pair of black suede booties and a nice silver studded bag.

I completed the look with my crazy hair and my favorite purple lipstick from Sephora.

As I say in my video, this look is perfect for a casual get together or a girls night out. I personally went to PA for a birthday party, and I had a great time with my precious family♥

Everyone loved my hair and I felt really comfortable with my outfit, since everyone was dressed casual as well.

How To Stay Positive: 20 Vital Habits

Learning how to stay positive is really important, specially these days, where the world is corrupted with all kind of negative stuff.
But the value of a positive number is always higher than a negative one. This means that positive thinking is always going to be stronger than negative thinking.

So the key on how to stay positive relies on always paying attention to what we do and what we say and think, making sure our thoughts, words and actions are not reflecting any type of negativity.
I decided to pull together a list of things positive people do, and I came up with 20 different habits we should all put into practice.

How To Stay Positive: 20 Vital Habits

Here There Are:

1. Forgive and don’t hold any grudges or seek revenge, because you are always going to be miserable keeping those unhappy memories with you. Learn how to let go and move on.
2. Express gratitude everyday and all the time. Appreciate what you have and do not concentrate on your lacks. Happy people acknowledge and appreciate even the simplest things in life. Give thanks for the family you have; for the clothes you wear; for the air you breathe; for the coffee you have every morning.
3. Dream big and set goals. Do not live your life without a purpose and do not settle for less. You are entitled to dream and succeed. Have the courage to dream and write a list setting goals with dates, and experience the great feeling of crossing them out one by one as you go.
4. Do not compare yourself to others. This just limits your capability of doing way more than what the other person is doing or achieving. Instead, compete with yourself and measure your results every day, so you can keep ‘raising the bar’.
5. Live into the present, instead of living in the past or the future. The only time where you can change things around and make a difference in your life is NOW.
6. Never seek approval or validation from others, and ignore negative criticism. You don’t have to limit yourself to what others think is right. Fear to rejection and to criticism could stop you from moving forward.
7. Embrace changes. Change is essential and ineluctable and nothing ever stays still. Everything is energy and energy is always in continuing motion. So do not resist to it.
8. Surround yourself with uplifting people. Negative people only drain your energy and damage your self-esteem.
9. Don’t get bored. If you don’t have nothing to do, take that time to recharge yourself by resting, meditating or simply to take a walk. I honestly never ever get bored!
10. Perceive failure as a lesson. Every time we fail we are closer and closer to the number one way to actually succeed. The more mistakes we make toward a goal, the closer we are to succeed, since we would have less obstacles to deal with, as long as we do not incur the same errors.
11. Mind control. Do not allow negative thoughts to sabotage your mind. Always try to monitor your thinking and if a negative thought sneaks in, immediately replace it with a positive-opposite one.
12. Don’t follow the crowd. A wise man taught me a few years ago, to observe the crowd and do the opposite. Don’t be a follower and stand up for your beliefs.
13. Believe there is Beauty in everything. Always look at the bright side of everything.
14. Always smile. Even a forced smile can lift one’s mood! Let’s share some positivity with others by offering them a bright smile.
15. Don’t procrastinate. Never make excuses and execute. The time to act is now.
16. Concentrate on your strengths and not your weaknesses. Always excel and focus on your strengths not your limitations. Remember you become everything you put your mind into. So always concentrate on your good qualities to excel at them, and also on what you want to be.
17. Give. If you are experiencing a lack of any kind, it is because you are not giving enough in that specific matter. “The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.” Luke 6:37-38.
18. Have no expectations from others. Do not expect anything from anyone, because at the end nobody owes you nor is obligated to anything.
19. Practice spirituality, putting time aside for moments of reflection and calm.
20. Respect. You must learn how to respect and love yourself and others as well. Do not hurt others. Remember that everything you do reflects back at you.

Denim On Denim * Stylo 154♥

Denim on Denim is a very popular combination I have seen among many fashion blogs, but this is actually my first Stylo representing this trend.

I chose to wear light denim paired with gold and brown accents; I think this is such a nice combination, because of the light and dark contrast that it creates.

I also decided to add a bit of drama by incorporating the fall/winter iconic Leopard Print, by wearing this beige/brown leopard bag.

This is such a casual comfy look perfect for Fall! I loved how I felt so comfortable but looking stylish at the same time. I haven’t been feeling well these past few days, and I really needed a casual look for the weekend.

I also created a super simple makeup based on neutral colors, combining beige and brown tones.

I blow dried my hair and left it loose…I wanted to feel the wind blowing my silky long hair…

I went shopping yesterday…I recently moved into a new apartment and now I am redecorating everything, but always maintaining the antique/traditional style that I so much love ;)

So it felt really good to get nice compliments about my outfit, while I was doing my weekend shopping.
